Italy Tour August 2007

Dear Friends and Alumni,
On behalf of the Boston University Men’s Rugby Club, I am writing to update you on the team’s progress and bright future. After a number of difficult seasons, the team has now made the playoffs for a second year in a row (losing to the eventual division champions Middlebury) and promise to have even more success in the upcoming 2007 fall season.
We are also now entering the final stages of planning for our rugby tour to Bologna Italy. The Bologna tour - August 23rd through the 31st - will give us an invaluable head start in our effort to win a division title while providing the experience of a life-time. The team will condition, practice, and play against top-quality Italian clubs in Bologna and will continue to build the camaraderie and sportsmanship that makes our sport so special.
However, despite numerous fundraising efforts, we still need your help. Any and all financial contributions to BU men’s rugby would be greatly appreciated (contributions are tax deductible). Please help us make this unique opportunity a reality. My teammates and I are committed to honoring the proud tradition of BU rugby, and with your support, we can carry on this rich tradition into the future. Many thanks for your time and attention.
